Ranking update: Bangladesh overtakes W.Indies and Afghanistan in T20

Bangladesh is now 8th position in ICC T20 ranking. By the latest update, Bangladesh has over passed Afganistan and West Indies.

In a equation of ICC, Bangladesh’s last 20 matches have been counted where tigers have 4583 points with 229 rating. West Indies also has 229 rating but they have played 24 matches and so Bangladesh is ahead of them. Australia is on the top with 278 rating.

England , India , Pakistan, South Africa, New zealand and Srilanka are behind them serially gaining comparatively slight less ratings.

Bangladesh has played 4 matches in 2020. Two win against Zimbabwe put them on back-foot for 2 losses in Pakistan. In 2019,Bangladesh won 4 out of 7 games. Big vital point was achieved by defeating India in India and home win against Afghans.

West Indies are same to Bangladesh in rating counting while Afghanistan lacks 1 rating.  Bangladesh was out of 8 for the last few years and their performance in this format was not satisfactory as they are the good side in ODI for years.
